Scottie and I went up to the counter to order and decided that would be the best time to ask if I could be a greeter outside the door and welcome people to Starbucks. She told us that it was absolutely 100% okay to do so. I suppose as long as I wasn't getting in anyone's way, it would just be a polite, kind thing to do in the south. I was a bit surprised that she didn't ask a supervisor prior to giving us the okay.

We asked for a photo later on, and explained what we were up to. I told her I was surprised that she gave me a yes. She explained that she was trying to make the customer happy, since Starbucks is about outstanding customer service.
